This is a small 5×7 hand-tinted photo in a marvelous original frame and backing by the know photographer Norman Edson, who resided in Vashon Island. The back of the photo holds a poem by Edson that writes:
“I arose to greet the rising sun,
That danced across the bay
He glanced at me,
Beneath the tree,
And-
Invited me to play.”.
