Darius Kinsey – Chuckanut Drive – 1922 (Photo 264)
Chuckanut Drive is located on Washington State Route 11, and is a beautiful scenic road. It is situated a bit south to the city of Bellingham. The road is famous for tourists or people that just want to get away.
The item shown here is a 1922 hand-tinted photograph by Darius Kinsey. The coloring work for Kinsey was done by his wife. On the back of this photo, we also find the copyright stamp that carries the address of Darius’ shop. Timber Views Co., which is mentioned in the stamp, was the name of Kinsey’s photo company. The serial number of this negative is 264.
