Asahel Curtis – Snow on Mount Rainier, 1916 (Photo 36608)

Every time I look at this photo, my jaw drops. I wish I could be there then, or now. It is absolutely amazing. The view, the colors, the scenery. Everything about it is stunning. This is in fact a rare piece. I have never seen this negative elsewhere in any form or format. Featuring snow on mount rainier, the left bottom of the photo is signed “A.C., 36608”.

The photo is housed in its original yet reconditioned piecrust frame and is in perfect shape. What a great photo. I could stare at it for hours.
